Food with meaning:
The Minas Gerais's Quitandas
Client: Namu Quitanda
This gastronomic experience is rooted in Brazilian traditions, designed for those who appreciate artisanal and heartfelt cuisine that evokes cherished memories and promotes the practice of artisanal consumption. We aimed to recreate the essence of 'quitandas' (food you'd eat with coffee) in Minas Gerais, paying tribute to Afro-Brazilian culture while valuing the origins and processes contributing to the final product.

Namu came with complex needs, just like its cuisine. We addressed those needs by developing a robust yet flexible visual identity project that could grow with the brand as it evolved.

Namu has grown
and brought all its Brazilianness to the Municipal Market
in Niteroi.
To embrace this change, we created a “secondary brand,” with as much personality as the main one, but focused on the physical store.
